mission

I study how control systems in cybersecurity, privacy, and emerging technology fail in practice.

My focus is on the gap between design intent and real-world behavior. Incentives, scale, and organizational complexity distort intended design. What do these breakdowns reveal about governance, accountability, and the limits of control in modern institutions?

If we misunderstand how these systems behave in reality, we cannot meaningfully govern the technologies that now shape risk and power.
